"Out of the blue werd ik ineens in die peergroup getriggerd om geheel out of the box te denken."
Deze zin moet je niet uitspreken terwijl je op de markt wacht op het ingepakt worden van een half pondje vliespinda's. Moet je niet uiten in aanwezigheid van mijn oude schoonvader die a) weigert de taal buiten de Enschedese stadsgrenzen te verkennen en waarderen en b) sowieso altijd een verkeerd afgesteld gehoorapparaat heeft. Op zijn best kun je een afkeurende snauw krijgen.
En terecht. Dit soort taal is geen Nederlands. Is geen Engels. Is geen dialect. Is ontaal. Is sociolect.
Alleen geschikt om je peers in je group te imponeren. Op de radio uitgesproken in een normalemenseninterview klinkt dit belachelijk. Sociolect is groepstaal die je alleen bezigt in een specifieke groep (bijv. van oncologen, harley-fans, cricketers, keurslagers op een keurslagercongres), maar niet daarbuiten !
Misschien moeten we voor dit verschijnsel een nieuw soort taal introduceren: imponeertaal of impresslect.
Vertaalpoging: Zomaar werd ik in onze groep uitgedaagd om vrijuit te denken.
Dit is geen taal. Je kunt best zeggen; "Zomaar ineens werd ik in die specifieke internet groep uitgedaagd om verder te zien dan wat voorhanden is"
